Time goes to fast when spent in the company of friends and family. Tessa was out of school early yesterday and spent most of the time playing with friends. The day did NOT end so well. I am always being told to shut when I speak to Tessa and I guess I reached the end of my last nerve. I sometimes wonder if we can ever get her to see that she should NOT speak to us like that.

Today I went out with the family to do a little shopping and was so tired when we got home. The weather is so NICE! Mariah was able to spend some time with us while Alicia got her hair cut. The last place we were at was Target to get the groceries. I stood at the door waiting to get picked up and saw an older lady fall and another man almost all in the same spot. Where the sun does NOT shine is still apparently very slippery.

Tessa had Josee come over to play and they made a snowman in the front yard. I do have pictures, but I have to wait until they can be put on the computer. I guess it is not a big deal that I can not add them now. I do get frustrated that I am still at the mercy of everyone else. I cannot do what I want to when I want to. I am still learning to be patient, but it is SOOO hard. How is everyones weekend going? Till next time...

The beauty of Winter on this date. This is our house during our latest snow storm.

All within one week.

First, I wake up one morning to the sound of rain. NOT GOOD! I was glad that I did not have far to travel as many ended up in accidents or in the ditch. The end of the week brought the snow. I have these photos of the car taken under those two very different types of weather. There is so much pretty snow right now, and I wish that I could have been out to enjoy it. Till next time...

Another Year to say Good Bye to.

This morning we woke up to SNOW! John has to work and to get the car out of the driveway actually needed to shovel some snow. I had to run and get a few pictures of the back yard before the dog went out and made tracks. The snow seems to have fallen with out any wind to make drifts, it is so pretty to see. I know that Tessa has been waiting for this to happen.

Yesterday was our day to spend with John. We decided to treat Tessa to a movie in the afternoon. The movie was "A Night at the Museum." I have to say we all really enjoyed that movie and of course Tessa said, "We have to buy that one!" When we left the theater, to our surprise the snow was coming down really heavy. I thought we had better stop at grocery store to get last minute items. The weather changed while we were in there and we came out to freezing rain. UGH!! I just kept hoping that Alicia had not come to town. I found out earlier that they drove home in the freezing rain, but it went OK.

John had taped a movie on the DVR called "Broken Bridges." Well, all of you know that it does not take much to put tears in my eyes, and it happened many times during this movie. I must say if you can try to see it.

Tessa has found the Lego's again and is constantly building. I guess it is an OK thing to be doing, but I will be glad when I can finally straighten this place up. I hate to see the tree go down, I also can not wait to get more space back in that room. I need to close and get back to uploading more photos. Till next time...
