1/2 c. butter or shortening 2 tsp. soda
2 eggs 1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk 1 c. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour
Mix ingredients and bake for 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
This recipe has been in the family since I was in 2nd grade. A classmates mother put it in a book that was made at that time. It is very yummy!! ENJOY!!
