This weekend was filled with lots of time for John and I to be by ourselves. Tessa was asked to a friends house both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed the quiet and took advantage of the time to go to a movie, "Wild Hogs". That was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a really long time. John's leg was probably rather sore as I can not help myself for slapping it when I get all excited.

I finally made it to church after about 5 weeks or more. I guess some did notice that I was gone. I always think I can go through life invisible, but apparently I am not really putting that off very well. Tessa was not happy to be there, but that will NOT come as a surprise to anyone.

Monday was the first time I had to work out by myself with out the therapist. I managed to use the machines with out any difficulty. It is good that everything is all written down for me. I am always so worried I will clank the weights or something and draw attention to myself. I just do what I need to and listen to all the people around me talk. It is amazing what you can hear if you just sit and listen. You all know that I am really good and just listening as I really do NOT like to talk. (Does anyone really believe that?)

My friend called to say that she was craving these really yummy beef tips that we like to get together for. It was a very enjoyable lunch visit with her. This was one of the first day in a really long time that I have actually felt almost like my old self. I just need to tackle all those areas in the house that are presently driving me CRAZY!

I shake my head as I look outside and see white again. It would seem we are going to have another typical spring here in the North. I am rather disappointed that it really does NOT look like it will be nice at Easter. It looks like I will be bringing Mariah with us on Friday. The backseat of our car is going to rather crowded with the dog. I think they will survive a couple of hours like that. Hope you all have a great Easter. Till next time...
