The Tree

One of our favorite past times is taking the camera and going for a drive. John took us into East Grand Forks, and that is where we found this tree. IT is the mature version of our very large twig planted in the back yard. I just hope ours turns as beautiful as this one. Till next time...

Someday

Our backyard has been seriously lacking in shade for a few years. A wind storm a few years back too all our large trees out. What was once completely shades is hotter than Hades on a day like today. There is NO shade at all. Tessa looks at this 'little twig' and shakes her head. I choose to look at the possibilities and God willing, it will make the backyard an enjoyable place to be in the evening. This is a Weeping Cut Leaf Birch. Till next time...
