I think that John and I need a vacation to recover from this week of vacation. I guess next year we should actually go somewhere so that I can not find all these fun activities to do around the house. I will eventually put photos of the living room here as I promised. I must patiently wait for John to get them into the other computer. Julie stopped in on her way to Pracs and said she loved how it looks.

I have guessed both times Alicia's 'news'. This time it was looking at her face and jokingly asking if she was pregnant. I really did not expect her to say yes. I had to ask her a couple of times if she was serious. I really am not sure it has sunk in yet, but it WILL!

I think the comments that Mariah will be making should be written down. Where do these children get their knowledge. How did she know that Alicia should not drink and start to drink lots of milk? The fact she wished she was getting a puppy just makes me smile. She says she is going to be a big sister and Tessa gets to auntie to someone else.

I just put my family through one of my strange movie rentals. The title is not important, but music in the background was good and I am still shaking my head as to what it was all about. I am looking forward to watching another Sci-Fi flick tonight. I hope that you have all had a great weekend. Till next time...

Just a little anxious

I was just getting ready to upload this entry when I changed my mind. I sounded like an idiot, jumping from here to there with my thoughts. The new job does have me anxious. I always have a hard time with change. I think that many of us do, but we all adjust. I know that I have some new skills to learn. I often get impatient with myself, wanting everything to happen 'RIGHT NOW'.

I really do not have much to say, I have enjoyed our drives in the country and around town this past week. Tessa has become accustom to that late evening drive. (I have to admit I have too!) The weather has been so hot, the lawns are looking rather sad. If you look really hard though, there is beauty all around you! I might not have the time to write much, but I will want to share my photos with you. The one in this entry is of some of us at the Reynolds Parade. I really wonder what Alicia was trying to take a photo of, her eyes are definitely NOT on the target! Till next time...

Visit to the country

I am very tired from to much sun to really write much tonight. We had a great afternoon out at my daughter's home. I just love the quiet of country, the sound of the birds and the feeling that you are alone. John tried to do some work on her flower beds. It will take a few years to really get them the way she wants, but you have to start somewhere. Mariah and Tessa tried to fly a kite but also played with their Bratz Dolls. Alicia's Birthday

Yesterday was Alicia's birthday. I find it so hard to believe that my daughter is NOW 25.I am must not going to think how old I am getting.She took off part of the day, so we were able to spend a relaxed lunch and not have to hurry to get her back to work. She is going to Fargo with her hubby for the night.The flowers in the photo with her were given to her at work.She is just going to keep them at work as her house gets to warm for them.

Today I am hoping to go shopping with John and leave the little miss at home for a little bit.It is just so much easier to be shop when she is NOT along.I was the first one awake this morning and I had over an hour of quiet to myself.It really is heavenly to have complete silence until Tessa wakes up and turns on that darn TV.I hope you all are having a great weekend.
