Mom, not long after our phone call the rain found us. I am rather curious as to how much we have had already. This time at home has not been long enough. We all have to face going back to the normal routine of work and school. Tomorrow will be my first full day with Liz. She is the other person hired to do what I have been doing. Now we will finally start to figure out what kind of a routine will work for us. OK, I guess I should get back to working on the scrapbooks. Have a great week!!

Yesterday I was called to the front desk, and here is what I found. Everyone that has seen these flowers has had to comment on how beautiful they are! I just enjoy looking at them! The person that gave them to me continues to amaze me! Thanks Juls!

Happy Valentine's Day

Yesterday, one of the ladies in finance brought us all treats. She is way to creative and patient. It was nice to have something to nibble on. The 'fingers' were made out of bread sticks with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on them. Are you ready for your day? Till next time...

His mysterious ways

This week had me waking up some mornings and just plain feeling like a dork. It does NOT help when Tessa has to make her usual comments. I was even starting to wonder if I was doing a good job at work. (it is amazing where are mind can take us!)

I had not asked for confirmation on how I was doing, but HE knew what I needed to hear. To make a long story short, a coworker told me as he was walking away how much he appreciated what I was doing and that this place did not always let you know that. What a nice thing to say when I knew he was NOT feeling well and should have gone home with a migraine. It is often those little kindness that mean the most. I will close for now. I wish that John could write about what goes on at is job. Till next time...

Decorating the Office - meet BURNiece

I did not know the plan when I first arrived at work today. It did NOT take me long to figure out the big plans for the day. I guess I work in the part of the office that loves to decorate for Halloween. Pizza was ordered and the fun began. I will post one photo for now, I think it will give you an idea until I can share more. To say, that I am shocked by all the decorating is putting it mildly! I was left alone in the area and I kept feeling like someone was behind me. (kind of creepy!) I am off with Mom for a night away. Do you think John and Tessa will enjoy the peace and quiet? My home away from home

This is the little office area that I get to work in. The piles are starting to get bigger and bigger. I am really not to worried about not having anything to do for a very LONG time. Tessa thinks that is a really ugly area. It really isn't so bad, enough people are always walking through that it does NOT seem so bad.
